You’re enjoying bub moving around, then one lands directly on your bladder, and you’ve never moved quicker in your life.

Bub certainly knows how to keep Mum on her toes before they’ve even arrived. 🤍

Has being told you have an anterior placenta made you wonder whether a bonding scan will be worth booking? 🤔

It can feel disappointing to be told you may not see bub’s face clearly, especially when that is exactly what you’ve been looking forward to.

An anterior placenta can make the images trickier when baby is resting against it, but clear images are still possible.

I ask mums to stay well hydrated before their appointment, as fluid and space around baby’s face can give me more room to work with. 💧 Every baby has their own plans on the day, but I’ll take my time to find the best view I can.

Been waiting for the scan where you can really see bub’s face? This is the one to book. 🤍

From 24 weeks, bub’s facial features are often much clearer, which is why I recommend booking your Bonding Scan after this stage if those frame-worthy 3D, 4D and 5D images are what you’re hoping for.

Your appointment is 20 minutes, giving you time to watch bub on the big screen, notice their expressions and movements, and share the experience with the people you love. 🥰

You’ll take home colour prints, with your digital images and video clips sent to you the same day.

No GP referral is needed, and your loved ones are welcome to come along.
Evening and weekend appointments are available in Goodwood, with same-day appointments often available.

Those chats with your bump aren’t as one-sided as they might feel. 🤍

By around 20 weeks, bub can hear sounds from inside your body, including your heartbeat, and is beginning to learn the sound of your voice.

As their hearing continues to develop, the voices they hear regularly can become familiar too. By around 25 weeks, bub may even react to sounds coming from outside the womb.

So, keep talking to your bump. Those everyday conversations are one of the first ways your family can begin connecting with bub before they arrive. 🥰

What an incredible weekend at the PBC Baby Expo!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall to say hello, have a chat, and join in on the fun with our Spin the Wheel game! 🎡💕

We had the absolute best time meeting so many beautiful families, seeing lots of familiar faces, welcoming new ones, sharing stories, lots of laughs and, of course, seeing all the excitement around the wheel!

It was so special to connect with so many of you, whether you're just beginning your pregnancy journey or getting ready to meet your little one. 🥰
