Fashion and Textile Museum
The exhibition was show casing the work of sisters Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell who worked together for fifty years painting fabric designs.
They designed for Liberty of London in the 70s.
Sarah has designed for Michael Miller Fabrics and
FreesSpirit Fabrics

This is my last castle, although most of the lawns were dead (heatwave and water restrictions) the gardens were gorgeous.

Hever Castle was built as a country house in the 13th century.
Between 1462 and 1539 it was where the Boleyn family lived.
Anne became Henry VIII second wife, so was Queen of England from 1533 to 1536
She was beheaded at the Tower of London

Stokesay Castle was built in the 13th century and still has some original features. The last picture are baby Swallows all cuddled together in the corner

After Lampeter I went to
Llanybydder to visit Jen Jones Welsh Quilts and Blankets. The antique quilts are displayed in the lovely little cottage that was built in 1735
Up stairs the quilts are displayed on beds, the cottage has over 300 quilts and welsh blankets
The quilts are dated between 1850 - 1940
Jen Jones was granted a Royal Warrant in 2015 by the Prince of Wales

Spent a couple of hours in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This is the house that William Shakespeare was born in 1564
