By popular request! 💕 I’ve been asked for an early evening beginners’ course, so I’m delighted to announce this NEW 9-week sewing course!

Learn to Sew from Scratch — perfect if you’ve always wanted to learn but don't know where to start.

Over 9 weeks, I’ll guide you step by step through everything from getting to know your sewing machine and mastering the basics, to learning seams, zips, pleats and pockets. You’ll then put your new skills into practice by creating a project of your choice.

My sewing classes at **The Weller Centre** are a lovely way to learn new skills, build confidence and get creative in a friendly, relaxed environment.

✨ **Complete beginner?** Join my **9-week beginners sewing course**, where you'll learn the basics and develop your sewing skills step by step.

🧵 **Already know how to sew?** You're very welcome to come along, improve your skills or work on a project of your own. You don't have to follow the beginners course if you'd prefer to do your own thing!

🧵✨ LEARN TO SEW FROM SCRATCH — 9-WEEK BEGINNERS COURSE ✨🧵

Always wanted to learn to sew but don't know where to start? This friendly, hands-on 9-week course will take you from complete beginner to confidently sewing your own projects.

We'll start with the basics — getting to know your sewing machine, threading, bobbins, tension, needles and grain line — before building your skills step by step.

You'll learn:
✂️ Different seam types
🧵 Various zip insertions
📐 Pleats — knife, box & inverted
👜 Pockets
👗 And lots of practical sewing techniques

The course finishes with a project of your choice, where I'll guide you through choosing your pattern, cutting out and constructing your finished piece.

💕 Perfect if you're a complete beginner or want to learn the right way from the foundations.
