It’s taken me years to understand that being in control of other peoples opinions is just too much work!! Because let’s face it I’m funny enough creative enough and have way too much to give this world just the way I am! Even if my five year plan turns into 10 my dreams belong to ME ❤️ So don’t be Robbed by other peoples opinions! We all have a special gift that God designed just for us so use it and bless this world with all who you were created to be ❤️

Those who see the good the bad and the ugly you go through and love all those sides of you! Who then put there words into actions those are your people! I will never forget a friend of mine when I was having a particularly tough time who sent me fresh white bread and luncheon with tomato sauce and a bag of my favourite chips on the side she knew it was a childhood favourite of mine and to come home and see it at my front door was enough for me to feel seen and heard. Don’t settle for one sided relationships you’re way too valuable for that!

I’ve always had a quiet determination to make my dreams a reality! We don’t just arrive at our destination there’s work behind the scenes that stretch and pull us to that finish line and I’m not looking to be the first but to just finish the race set before me! And sometimes I have to put my big girl pants on to get the job done ✅ so don’t give up! And know this I’ll be at the finish line cheering you on 🙌🙌🙌

In a world where flitter’s matter it’s hard not to get caught up in perfection! But I like the idea of being real and messy! For me this looks like my own struggles with mental health so afraid of showing what was really going on in those dark days so caught up in what others would think. I’ve learned being vulnerable is my imperfection and yes it takes courage and it’s messy but far more relatable to all who’s journey is imperfect ❤️

Have you ever felt so tired that you just wanted to give up?
Well here’s my secret it’s RUN A LAMP POST WALK A LAMP POST! We can’t keep pushing ourselves until we fall over and want to quit so try this it’s about resting in between your busyness and giving yourself permission to stop and hit the reset button! I’ve learned this the hard way thinking the only way out was to quit but it’s in the rest that we gather what’s needed to feed our mind body’s and soul’s. God himself had it right and on the seventh day he RESTED 🙏

A soft heart sees the struggles and difficulty’s in other’s lives you have the ability to respond with compassion and empathy instead of judgment or criticism. In doing so we show that we care. So be brave enough to be someone’s soft place to land today and in that moment the ripples will go far and wide 😊 ❤️

What’s your YELLOW? I’ve had days where it’s been so dark I can’t see anyway out of it curtains closed and my heart heavy then something amazing happens the light pushes through a small crack that fills the whole room! And I’m reminded that light the colour of yellow always trumps the darkness. Remember this to shall pass because he came to be the light of the world for all those who are darkness! Yellow may be a friend and song a hug a rainbow or a kind smile all are what gives us hope so you never know when your receiving or delivering the colour yellow all are just as important in our journey of life ☀️☀️ 💛

Don’t you just love the weirdness we are all wired with That quirky sense of humour that quirky dress sense that passion for Op shopping ( 💯) The best thing about being different is you dance to the beat of your own drum! How many times do we do this because we are afraid to say NO. The struggle is real for me I’ve always been a peace maker it’s how I grew up seeing and being in stressful situations that taught me to keep those people onside.
This can be a strength and a weakness! But as I’ve learnt over the years peace at any cost can rob you of walking in a joyful life! So if you get that check in your spirit that has you feeling like you really don’t want to do that! That’s your NO. And I tell you being honest in the moment saves a whole lot of why did I say yes to that! Opening the space for what’s really meant for you😊

It’s so easy to think of what we don’t have and play the comparison game! But what if what you have in front of you is enough? Wouldn’t the world be such a different place if we thought this way? We wouldn’t have war we wouldn’t have hunger we wouldn’t have greed! In being satisfied we’d have the ability to share in our abundance with others 😊 I call that blessed 😇

I don’t know about you but my self talk needs a little work. All the people in the world can give you praise but if our own self talk doesn’t match it’s game over! I’ve struggled with this my whole life letting that tape play over and over! Until one day I heard myself saying NO to it and not agreeing with it. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made Gods words not mine! So become more mindful in what we agree with because taking the power back in our mind has the power to change our destination and for generations to come do I hear a Amen sister 🙏
