To every friend, fan, and partner who has been part of the Asheville Threads journey…,this one’s for you.
After five remarkable years of creating, collaborating, and building something truly special in the heart of Asheville, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our doors. Sharing this news doesn’t get easier with time, but we wanted you to hear it directly from us.
Our story isn’t an isolated one. Across this city and this country, the independent businesses that give a community its soul have been facing headwinds unlike anything we’ve seen before: economic pressures, shifting landscapes, and the unpredictable nature of our times.
When we planted our roots on Page Ave, we were surrounded by strong neighbors: Cultivated Cocktails, Sugar Britches, Adorn Home, Wedge Brewing, Locals Only, and so many others who made our little street feel like something worth showing up for every single day. As those neighbors have had to make their own hard calls, the ripple effects have been real, and honest.
And just as we were hitting our stride, truly hitting it, in September 2025, with powerful new printing partners and designs we were genuinely proud of, Hurricane Helene changed everything. What followed was a defining moment of clarity: a dramatic drop in sales and foot traffic.., the kind of reckoning that no amount of passion alone can outrun.
Starting today, everything in-store and online is 40% off. This is your chance to take home a piece of something we poured our hearts into.
What we’ll carry with us, what no closing can touch, are you. You showed us that we were never just in the business of printing shirts. We were in the business of marking moments. Of celebrating the kind of Asheville experiences that can’t be replicated, packaged, or sold anywhere else.
We are endlessly grateful. Please stay connected, reach out whenever you’re in the neighborhood, and know that every one of you became part of our story in a way that will last far beyond any storefront.
Thank you for five extraordinary years of letting us be part of yours. 🖤
