We were visited by our friend Jed from l.a.Eyeworks last week.

It has come to my attention that his new nickname is “Sweet Jed” so we will make sure to address him as such going forward. He is pretty sweet to be honest.

Also sweet were all of the super cool new Fall designs- awesome colors and shapes - they did not disappoint.

Have we ever told you that the “Running Festival” on a Saturday is the best thing ever?

Ok today’s not that day either. Maybe next year.

In our boredom we did unpack a large arrival from .

Then we had our pair of young apprentices pick their favorites to share with you.

It was either that or have them dust all the shelves again … somehow they chose this 😂

Don’t worry, we know traffic is a nightmare, but we will be back next week with these and plenty of other options for you to choose from.

Finally!

Time for Violet to reveal her new spectacular spectacles 👓

Shout out to Cherry Optical Lab 🍒 for the lenses - the violet gradient tint looks amazing paired with the blue block AR coat.

At the end of the day this is the pair that won and it was also Violets choice - so it worked out perfectly.

I still maintain that both pairs looked great- almost everything she tries on looks good - which makes it difficult. Thank you for everyone who voted!

Soft launch of the new Fall/Winter collection from

And by soft launch we mean they’re locked up in the back since we have so many new arrivals we don’t know where to put them all yet. 🤷🏻

We are so excited though that Bobby G pulled out his cell phone, pointed it in my face and said “Go”

After I babbled for some time he told me that the only part I did well was open the case -😂

In any event he managed to edit my ramblings into somewhat of a coherent message.

We even managed to crowbar Teddy KGB into the video - hope you enjoy it.

The frames are awesome - handmade in Japan - and are elegant and timeless.

New Glasses Alert 🚨

I’m not sure that we need an alert when I get a new pair of specs. But in the words of my spiritual social media advisor Bobby G - “content” - ok that’s only 1 word, but he says it a lot 😭

My apologies to Davon In Search Of By Davon Ford | Vintage Eyewear - I had promised him a video with my amazing Second Impact glasses in Magma from his In Search Of by Davon Ford brand.

But we have been busy and by the time I got around to it Summer was over and it was time for a new pair of glasses - my bad.

I will say the Magmas definitely are one of my favorites ever but the new pair I might like even more 😇

A good pair of specs shouldn’t just help you see - they should make you smile as well. (I just made that up)
