VINTAGE SHOP HOP in Brandon, VT

On May 2, between 10 am and 4 pm, NIFTY Thrifty Thrift SHOP, Sister Wicked, Compass Treasure Chest and Across the Street will give you four more reasons to come into town and “Shop Hop.” These stores all specialize in antiques, vintage, consignment, and / or thrift. On May 2, there will be expanded hours, pop-ups and some discounts.

What's on tap here, at Across the Street? TipsyGypsy Vintage will be setting up her most adorable camper at the "old bus stop" between our store and the Congo Church. Make sure to check out what's new with her.

In Across the Street and TipsyGypsy Vintage (in store), we will be having a 20% off "CRASH" sale on EVERYTHING! ($20 minimum purchase required). Thanks everyone for your support as we sort out the mess from a car crashing through our front window. Accidents happen. We are open and doing business as usual. We are keeping up a lively vibe inside and out. Joel has added a little color and life to the window boards. There is a blocked off section inside the shop that Brad is guarding over until insurance is finalized and the professional cleaners can do their magic.

We are getting ready for Brandon’s Vintage Shop Hop Day on May 2 in partnership with our fellow Brandon sellers of pre-loved treasures: Nifty Thrifty, Sister Wicked and Compass Treasure Chest. Keep watching here for details – there will be expanded hours, sales and pop-ups.

Hey everyone. Yes, this happened today. Number one – grateful no one was injured. Very thankful tonight for everyone who stopped to help and to those who reached out to us. Brandon Town Clerk Sue Gage witnessed the accident and within a second’s time it was called in to emergency responders and to us.

Thanks to Brandon Fire Department and BARS who both showed up quickly and within minutes assessed damages and the potential for injury. Thanks to Officer Herrick from the Rutland County Sheriff’s Department who stopped to see what he could do and to State Tropper St. Clair who responded to the call. Brent Young of the Brandon Fire Department gets an extra shout out for coming back to secure the building. We will be closed Wednesday and will be assessing damages and next steps. We will be open on Thursday, April 23.
