This wonderful Sunday morning, I got a text from Ron Ron. He had picked up a Salt Lake magazine magazine, started flipping through it and saw this and sent it to me.
I didn’t even know. And it feels huge.
But what makes this moment especially meaningful to me is what it represents.
For those of you who know Ron, you know what an incredible human being he is. Before I ever opened my shop, Ron let me come work with him as an intern. He shared his knowledge, his time, and his experience with me. Then, when I was looking for a place to open my own shop, he helped me secure a lease two doors down from him.
I know a lot of people are surprised when they hear that. You don’t typically see someone who could be considered your competition actively reaching out, helping, and wanting to see you succeed. But that’s Ron (IYKYK).
I would not be on this block without Ron Green. I would not be celebrating this milestone without Ron Green.
He completely changed the trajectory of my life, and I will be forever grateful for his generosity, his support, and the belief he has always had in me.
And he continues to show up—not just for me, but for everyone around him. He’s an incredible friend, an incredible husband, and an incredible member of this community.
Ron cares deeply. And I feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed.
So yes, this post is celebrating a little win of mine and I’m damn proud of it!! But more importantly, it’s about recognizing the people who helped make the win possible.
Ron, I am so grateful for you and for our friendship. 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 THANK YOU!! LOVE YOU!!
