In the blink of an eye, everything changes. 🥹✨

One moment they’re tiny enough to fit perfectly in your arms… and before you know it, they’re running, talking, laughing, and becoming their own little person right before your eyes.

Watching Madi grow has been the sweetest reminder that time does not slow down for motherhood. The days can feel long, but somehow the years move in fast forward.

So here’s to capturing the little moments, holding them a little tighter, and loving every version of who they are becoming. 🤍

At this point DC has been raining like we secretly relocated to Seattle ☔️😂

But watching Madi run around in his little yellow rain boots, pushing his bubble mower through puddles without a care in the world, reminded me of something so important about parenting…

Children don’t wait for perfect weather to experience joy.

They find magic in bubbles, rainwater, muddy footprints, and ordinary moments we as adults sometimes overlook. And honestly, one of the greatest lessons positive parenting has taught me is to slow down enough to witness it all instead of constantly trying to control it.

So today we embraced the rain, the mess, the bubbles, the laughter, and this beautiful little life God trusted us with 🤍

Part 1 of 3: Strong enough to carry him, fine enough to still give looks. Truth be told, pregnancy did not have me looking like this the whole time 😂 but in the beginning, SirMadi was definitely good to me. I was still feeling like myself, still looking good, and baby boy let me ease into all of it before things got real.
