It feels like I've been moving in dizzying circles lately without actually getting anything done, so today I gathered up all the projects I've enthusiastically told you about lately for a quick SITREP.
Looking at this photo, I may have identified the problem. π
π©² Project Underwear Phase 2: still being cut out. Yes. STILL. In my defence, this is something I try to squeeze into that tiny window between packing all the orders and picking up the kids from school.
π Quickie Rainbow Crazy Quilt: I smashed out 20 blocks in one weekend and have since carried it around in its project bag without making a single additional block. This was mainly a weekend project... then our weekends got busy. Then I got sick. So it's been very well travelled, just not particularly productive. π
𧡠The OG Crazy Quilt: patiently waiting for me to unpick the first bit of sashing that I managed to sew on backwards AND catch the wrong bit of fabric in. Unpicking... meh. This one can stay in the naughty corner a little longer!
π Book Week: queue-jumped the lot of them because apparently deadlines outrank enthusiasm. π I'm really enjoying this one though! Both outfits are mostly constructed and I've taken them home for the kids to try on so I can work out the final sleeve and hem lengths. Then it should be a quick finish β days ahead of their parade next week! Look at me being organised! π
One might suspect my real hobby isn't sewing, it's having sewing projects.
Not to be confused with my other hobby... buying and storing fabric and craft supplies. Ahem.
Fortunately, none of these projects seem particularly bothered about waiting for me to find the right time. They'll still be there when I'm ready for them. β€οΈ
