Let’s welcome a new teacher to our studio!

Leighann will be a permanent addition to our Dance staff.

Leighann McGivern has coached the Hampton High School Dance Team since 2016, winning numerous high score and choreography awards throughout her tenure. Leighann started her dance career at the age of 2 and competed locally and nationally until age 18 for top studios in the Pittsburgh area. In college, she was selected for the Kent State University Dance Team. Throughout her dance career, Leighann has taken classes with esteemed choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Tyce Diorio, and Wade Robson, among many others. Professionally, Leighann has built an esteemed career in journalism and marketing and was also named one of Pittsburgh Magazine's 40 Under 40 Award recipients in 2021 for her philanthropic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a mother of two and an avid lover of music, art, and musical theatre. She believes in creating a positive learning environment for her students and encouraging dancers to reach their fullest potential.

Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level?!

Batavia Performing Arts Studios is now accepting registrations for our 2026–2027 Competitive Dance Team auditions!

We’re more than just a team — we’re a supportive dance family where dancers grow together, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories both on and off stage.

Whether your dancer dreams of improving their technique, building lifelong friendships, or shining on stage, we would love to see them audition!

Audition Dates:

Congratulations to Batavia Studios student Calleigh Foulkrod!

Calleigh is graduating from Seneca Valley High School and will be attending the University of Pittsburgh this fall to study Pre-Law. 📚⚖️

She has been part of the Batavia family for many years, performing in 16 productions and studying voice for the past 6 years with Antonia Botti-Lodovico. Throughout her time at Batavia, Calleigh has brought incredible talent, versatility, dedication, and heart to every production she has been part of. ❤️

Audiences have loved watching her shine in so many memorable roles including:
